PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the Municipal Land Use Law, particularly N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13, the Borough of Stockton Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., via the ZOOM platform:

to consider the Borough of Stockton’s 2024 Master Plan Reexamination Report. A Master Plan is a Borough-wide policy document that outlines the vision for the community’s growth, development, and preservation. Under New Jersey law, municipalities are required to re-examine their master plans every 10 years.

PLEASE BE ADVISED that any interested party may attend such public hearing. At the time of the public hearing, any interested persons may appear to ask questions and present comments in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed reports. A full copy of the proposed report is available for public inspection in the Office of the Borough Clerk, 2 S Main St Stockton, NJ by appointment and on the Borough of Stockton website www.http://www.stocktonboronj.us
A copy of the document will be on file and available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing.
The Borough of Stockton Planning Board may take formal action at the close of the public hearing on December 3, 2024 or may continue the hearing to another date.

STOCKTON BOROUGH- Change in Borough Council Meeting Location Notification – OPMA – HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ

WHEREAS, the Open Public Meetings Act (Ch. 231, P.L. 1975) provides for the giving of annual notice by public bodies of the time, date and location of the regular meetings of such public body to be held during the succeeding year; and

WHEREAS, the Open Public Meetings Act (Ch. 231, P.L. 1975) hereinafter referred to as the Act, authorizes a public body to make certain other determinations and take certain other actions in conformance therewith.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Council of the Borough of Stockton, County of Hunterdon and State of New Jersey as follows:

Flood Disclosure Announcement: NJ bill S3110/A4783, requires sellers of property and landlords to make certain notifications regarding flooding. Under the law, sellers of real property and landlords must disclose knowledge of a property’s history of flooding, flood risk, and location in a flood zone or area.
