Overview
Stockton Borough contracts with Republic Services for solid waste pickup and recycling services.
Note: schedules are subject to change as our existing contract is expiring.
Pickups
Garbage
Every Tuesday and Friday
Trash should be placed no earlier than 3:00 pm the previous day. Empty cans must be removed within 12 hours of collection day.
Pick up may be delayed by one day for the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Recycling
Wash all your containers and jars for recycling. Contaminated products cannot be recycled and will end up in the landfill.
Schedule: Alternate Fridays (holidays and storms may require next-day pickup).

Do Not Recycle: Styrofoam/Plastic Bags/Ceramics/Oil Jugs/Stained Cardboard (such as Pizza Boxes)/Dirty Jars & Containers
Events
Several times a year, the County Complex on Route 12 holds household clean-up events. Unless otherwise specified, the location, time, and procedures are as follows. Please have your materials in your trunk, cargo area, or truck bed, easily accessible to staff, who will remove them from your vehicle. No pre-registration is required, and all county residents are welcome.
