Overview

The Stockton Borough Planning Board acts in accordance with NJ’s Municipal Land Use Law, which allows communities to adopt a master plan to control land use and a zoning ordinance to guide development. Since 1986, this has included historic preservation zoning and the authority to identify, evaluate, designate, and regulate historic resources.
