Dear Members of the Stockton Community,
Over the past year, the Borough Council and I have remained focused on a simple goal: making thoughtful decisions that protect Stockton’s future while making the most responsible use of taxpayer dollars. Our highest priorities are public safety and managing Borough infrastructure.
Some of our work has been visible, from new signage and crosswalk improvements to water meter upgrades. Other less visible initiatives, including staffing, engineering studies, grant applications, long-term planning, and strategic partnerships, help position Stockton to meet future needs.
Although these efforts often happen behind the scenes, they are just as important. Planning ahead helps us prioritize projects, secure outside funding, preserve community assets, and make informed decisions before investing local tax dollars. Taking this proactive approach helps us to avoid more costly future challenges.
This newsletter highlights some of what we’ve accomplished over the past year, what’s currently underway, and what’s ahead. We hope it provides insight into not only what your local government has been working on, but also why these efforts matter to our community.
I encourage you to remain engaged by attending Council meetings to share your ideas and input.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping to make Stockton such a special place to live.
Sincerely,
Mayor Aaron Lipsen
